Happy Holiday Weekend All,

Let me start this post by saying:

I absolutely love body scrubs!!!!

Thanks to the owner of Naked Chick Organics, Malina Wefel, I had the opportunity to experience and then review her Salted Coconut Orange Body Scrub. This product is amazing and I can’t wait to try the others.

Salted Coconut Orange Body Scrub

First, I adore the smell. As soon as you open it, you’re enveloped with the coconut and orange aroma – yum! The texture is gritty due a salt that It contains which you can stir with the wooden spoon that it comes with and then, it contains two of my favorite things…1) Coconut Oil and 2) Orange Essential Oil. HEAVEN ON EARTH!!!

There’s nothing like exfoliating your skin on a regular basis and I personally like it during the Summer months. I enjoy two ways of exfoliating, either during my shower or immediately after. I use coconut oil everyday after I shower, so with this product, I chose to do the same. My skin felt really moisturized, soft and it glistened all day. Additionally, I smelled like one of my favorite oils. I think I may have even clucked all day – lol!

Naked Chick Organics was born out of a need to remove chemically based and sometimes harmful products out of our medicine cabinets and replace them with 100% Organic and 100% Vegan products with a 6 month shelf life upon opening. These products are never made with anything less than high quality, raw USDA Certified Organic ingredients that have not been cooked or striped of their hydrating and aromatic properties.

The oils are infused with organic botanicals such as: Chamomile, Calendula, Marshmallow Root, Comfrey Root, Chickweed and others. As the oils are slowly infused over months, not minutes, this process ensures that the superior moisturizing and aromatic properties are preserved. This explains why it’s so aromatic upon opening.

Naked Chick Organics is currently making room for their Frosty Chick (Fall/Winter) collection due out in a couple of weeks.

Take a look at their site and decide if you want to be a Sunny Chick, Peppy Chick, Cozy Chick, Baby Chick, Gritty Chick, Soaky Chick or a Frosty Chick. I’m sure there’s something there for you.
